As of 11/13/24 I am still using this unit. This unit is from 1979 and I am removing it upgrading to a combo boiler. I would have to replace the Thermopylae every other year for whatever reason. This is the original unit when house was built.

Unit is in Porterville pa. Model P205-W. The only problem I ever encountered was the drain valve is started to drip last year. So it has been in continuous service for around 40 years.

Problem solved. You can get the data off plate. Any questions, ask. After that, I may be moving it outside.

I just put a cap on the spigot.
